Els Ulls de la Història 

Bringing Catalonia’s cultural heritage to life through LBVR experiences, from museum halls to classrooms across Spain.

Catalonia’s most iconic heritage sites — La Roca dels Moros (El Cogul), Cartuja de Escaladei, Sant Pere de Rodes, Castillo de Miravet, and the Vall de Boí — are brought to life through a series of LBVR experiences. Each site is reimagined in two immersive formats: one crafted for exhibitions, the other designed for schools, making history both engaging and accessible to audiences of all ages. 

For the first time, LBVR experiences are traveling into schools (3-4 new schools each week), transforming classrooms into immersive learning spaces. Students engage with interactive features that make the learning process dynamic and memorable, while teachers benefit from intuitive tools that simplify control and allow each session to be tailored to the needs of their class.

Developed in collaboration with the Generalitat of Catalonia, Layers of Reality, and Abacus. 

Key learnings

Challenge: collaborating with multiple partners during the project definition stage, integrating insights from diverse stakeholders—including educators, pedagogists, game designers, and scriptwriters—while managing production scope, balancing ambitious expectations with financial and planning realities.

Solutions: 

• Structured creative workflow: designed a clear process for experience definition, organizing workshops with experts to share knowledge and collaboratively shape educational experiences.
• Stakeholder management: maintained alignment through production planning, regular check-ins, and structured communication, ensuring all contributors were informed and coordinated.
• Early and ongoing validation: conducted initial validation of key decisions and continuously assessed feedback to keep the project within scope, complemented by weekly finance reviews to track budget and schedule adherence.
