LV Editorial Strategy

Redefining the brand strategy through a unified framework that ensures consistent transmission across the entire digital ecosystem.

Project challenge

Inconsistency in brand representation across platforms, combined with fragmented interpretations of the brand’s values and identity, created a lack of cohesion in communication. The challenge extended beyond defining a strategy—it required building a shared understanding of what the brand represents and translating that consistently across markets, platforms, and teams.

Stage 1 — Understand: Stakeholder interviews with senior management to capture the leadership’s vision of the brand and its strategic priorities.
Stage 2 — Define Brand DNA: Refinement of brand pillars, values, and differentiators to articulate a clear and universally understood brand identity.
Stage 3 — Editorial Principles: Translation of each brand pillar into editorial guidelines, ensuring content reflects brand values in tone, voice, and expression.

Stage 4 — Platform Guidelines: Development of detailed documentation on how editorial principles apply across digital platforms, from website to social media and newsletters.
Stage 5 — Organizational Blueprint: Recommendations for operational processes, team structures, and workflows to enable consistent integration and execution of the new guidelines.

Key learnings

Challenge: managing a global strategy project for a heritage brand. The success of the work depended on delivering not only strategic clarity but also practical mechanisms for execution and long-term adoption.

Solutions:

  • Applied methodology: a structured framework complemented with real-life case studies and design examples, ensuring theoretical concepts were anchored in practice.
  • Collaborative workshops: hands-on sessions with the teams responsible for implementation, bridging the gap between strategy and day-to-day execution.
  • Knowledge transfer: creation of toolkits and training modules to empower local teams and secure internal alignment.
